To mark the turn of the Century Bentley prepared 10 special cars pn the Continental R platform. These featured the Mulliner wide-body kit, a green starter button, a matrix grille and 18-inch wheels. They were sold in America for $20,000 USD above and beyond the standard Continental R price.
